I can t believe but it seems we have again access to blogger from Turkey! Even from Turkey maybe I should write. But after the second blogger ban, I will not write anymore in turkish. I am sad as I can t really english, but many people in Turkey don t read, don t travel...
Anyway, Merry Christmas! It is the 25th of December 2011. I am not a christ but i like to celebrate this year in every occasion. Annd there were many important dates in the last time in my life and i would like to write about them...
I want to have my own cultural calender. The last calender I had has the celebration days of 3 monotheistic religions, but it would be interesting to know more of course...
But what I have seen is that moon and sun play a great role in all cultures for time measuring. And they are both beatiful and always a subject in mythologies and in fairytales.
In the time I couldn t write I have read many fairytales for my daughter and they have another mood than the adult mood.
Today is New Moon and this means it is a beginning of a new moon month...Islamic calender is not only a cultural calendar it is actually what we call moon calender only with the beginning of a special and important event in the history.
Today is the first day of the second moon month in a lunar year. (as far as I know)
The most important date in this year was for me of course the 29th of October.
31 October is halloween. It is not important to me but still i would add it into my calender, i am sure it has many things to do with superstitious traditions.
1 November 'Allerheiligen' in Austria
2 November 'Allerseelen' in Austria
10th of November is the dead of Atatürk. A great leader with great enemies, still fought by his opponents...
24th November Thanksgiving in U.S.A.
I am sure there are more dates from November but this much i can recall now...
22 November 2012,
Here again. One year later. Another mood. Last year I was very excited as I have survived a birth. I was very scared before the operation. I should write about this experience... Being cut like a piece of furniture but the best thing was that I could listen to music so I noticed less of cutting and etc.
This year the 14th was New Moon I think...I am not sure as I didn t follow the moon so much...
