We liked Shlomo Sand

Yesterday we have seen in 'Hard Talk' (BBC) Shlomo Sand. We didn t know about him, but I liked his way of arguing in many ways...Bibel, for example or another so called 'holy text' is not a historical book...
One couldn t read these texts as 'reality'. I mean they are more than this... They are not scientific or historical books, this would be ridiculous... And i also liked his argument about the end of the War.He said: 'If everybody could go to the U.S.A. in 1945, there would be not a state like Israel.' Maybe, I don t know, but it is true, that Western states have shaped the migrants and its survivors in the way that they would like to. I mean,
it is ridiculous to think that Israel is a religious wonder or the product of God Will or sth. like this. One should be very naive to think the political order has anything to do with God...The idea 'to free' Europe from jews is very old idea and has a concrete history.
In my view Israel is the fullfilling of the idea of to get rid of jews in Europe and make
a Western stationery in the Middle East.
