Bone Machine bence Tom Waits in Franks Wild Years ve Rain Dogs la beraber en iyi albümlerinden bir tanesi. Ama bu öteki ikisi kadar iyi bilinmiyor. Tabii benim bildigim en son albümü Real Gone da cok iyiydi. Ama bu albümün yeri baska, cünkü bu ötekilerden biraz farkli. Nerdeyse bütün albüm de bir konu birligi var, ben böyle albümleri seviyorum. Sanki bastan sona ayni konu, ayni kumas... Ayni tema degisik yönleriyle isleniyor...
Bu sarkiyi ilk duydugumda gülmüstüm, cünkü bu "Dise dis, göze göz" mantigi cok eski ve ilkel bir mantik. Ve Tom Waits bundan cok uzak aslinda belki de bu yüzden komik ve hos bu sarki... Bu bir kalintiyi eline alip, gercekten uzakligiyla birlikte o nesnenin etrafinda olusan ironik ve gercek disi atmosferi tenefüs etmek gibi...
