Everyday life in Istanbul

Yes! This is a problem! Everyday life is a problem in Turkey. It is always survival level, as anything else in this country is considered as too much for human beings. 'Stay with us in survival level! Don t think much!' If you try to think and even to write what you think, then you are a mad person here. Why write, why think here?
If you want to think and write, this means you have too much in life, so the lovely state should make some concerns about you. Do you have a problem? Or do you make a problem? Or should we make a problem for you? This lovely paternalistic state of Turkey will look after you. They will take care about you. They will listen to you. (One of the most wiretapping cases in the world probably) Such a lovely state!
I can remember that a state governed company (like most of them somehow) has asked me,  'Don t you want watch TV under the protection of State?''   ('Devlet güvencesinde televizyon seyretme imkanı' in original) And the stupid boy from Anatolia in the call center can t understand that his sentence alone is funny, but in a country where ministers send mass sms, nothing is considered here strange:-)
We are here to protect you! :-)))
