Yes, it would be also a tragedy if Turkey would be in the Euro zone, as both countries have soo much in common. I think that both countries are predestined for waste of public money, but they normally claim that a country can t go down. Yes, a country can go down! Economy or economic war  is no more civilized than a military war. In Turkey you can hear the money wasting group always  with arguments like  'We are getting bigger.' We can make debts, as we are getting bigger!'
They let you make debts, as to exploit you. Nothing else. I don t know if  he can help to his country, but it would be still great, if he would win.
Turks and greeks would buy german products eagerly, even if it is not good for their country, as common sense is not so developed, like public sense, in these countries. But Germans wouldn t import any products from Greece or Turkey if they would diagnose the slightest  imbalance in their import - export budget. And in german language has the word 'import' a bad  reputation. In Turkey they are even proud of this... I never forget that a very well known company always write on some products  'Our own import' as if it is something to be proud of...
